Estimate of Repairs Required

60 Point Inspection:
Upon arrival, all in-house repair units are subjected to our "60 Point" inspection process. Items such as oil level, compressor mechanical integrity, refrigerant balance pressure, and electrical functionality are checked against factory norms. Specific temperature, pressure safety cut-out information is recorded, and any abnormalities from specifications are noted.

After performing a complete inspection, and observing any customer special requests. A list of suggested replacement parts is completed, which will later be used when calculating the overall cost of repair.

Upon request: A PDF copy of the Inspection Report can be emailed to the customer, or a printed copy can be faxed.

When conducting field inspections, specific circumstances and/or restrictions imposed by the location, will often times limit the scope of what can be looked at. Because of this fact, field inspections wont always be as thorough as the ones we would be able to perform in-house. Obviously it is best, but not always practical for the customer, if we perform the inspection and repairs in our own facility. Where this is not possible, we will do the best that we can to insure that all potential problems are uncovered.

Estimates:
M&T Systems will provide a complete written estimate of the cost of repair, based on parts and labor (as was determined by our pre-inspection process). The estimate provided will be valid for a period of 90 days, after which time re-verification of the quoted cost will need to be obtained from our Service Department.

Help us to help you!
Provide us with all the necessary information at the time you submit the estimate request. First, give us the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Why are you requesting service for the unit?
  • Do you have any special requirements?

Next, give us the less obvious information about the job. To help you think along those "less obvious" lines, check out the list below:

  • What are the unit's "Loaded" TC temperatures?
  • What are the TC temperatures in "Standby" mode?
  • What are the unit's suction and discharge pressures under both conditions?
  • What is the history on this unit?
  • Have there been any issues in the past?
  • If so, are these issues of a similar nature to what is occuring now?
  • Has anything been recently changed in your process?

Providing as much of this kind of information as you can, will help us to provide you with a more timely and accurate estimate.

Request for estimates can be done through a phone call, email, or by using the "Create New Support Ticket" feature in our SUPPORT section. Please contact us if you have any questions.
